Position Description

Salary Range: $83,872 to $141,997 full-time equivalent plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.
Employment Status: Full-time and Part-time applications will be considered 
Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Start Date: Monday, 25 January 2026, Term 1

About the Role   

The Classroom Teacher delivers high-quality teaching and learning that engages, challenges, and supports students to achieve their full potential. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, respond to diverse learning needs, and use assessment and feedback to support student progress. Working collaboratively with colleagues and families, you will contribute to a strong learning culture where every student is supported to thrive.
 
This appointment is temporary as it is to replace an employee who is on parental leave and the incumbent is entitled to return to work early in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications and Eligibility 

  • Bachelor of Teaching/Education or Master of Teaching
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
  • Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
