Salary Range: $81,429 to $137,861 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.
Employment Status: Part-time | temporary 30.4 - 45.6 hours per fortnight

About the Role   

The Classroom Teacher delivers engaging, purposeful, and differentiated lessons using approved teaching strategies and high-quality resources aligned with the curriculum. They create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports both academic achievement and student well-being. Through ongoing assessment and timely, constructive feedback, they monitor progress and adapt their teaching to meet the diverse needs of all learners. The teacher maintains accurate and thorough records of student development and works in partnership with colleagues and families to foster strong, supportive relationships. Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CACGEL) is committed to supporting professional excellence. Teachers have the opportunity to engage in ongoing learning and development that enhances practice and upholds accreditation and professional standards.

We are looking to appoint two Classroom Teachers. These appointments are temporary as they are to replace employees who are on parental leave and the incumbents are entitled to return to work early in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications and Eligibility 

• Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
