Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848  plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

About the Role   

The Classroom Teacher inspires and supports students by delivering engaging, purposeful lessons using evidence-based strategies and approved curriculum resources. They create inclusive environments where students feel valued and motivated to achieve their best. Through regular assessment and personalised feedback, they guide each student's learning journey, carefully tracking progress and celebrating milestones along the way. By collaborating and communicating with colleagues and families, they help build a strong support network around each student. This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications and Eligibility  

• Bachelor of Education or Master of Teacher
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
• Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
