Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 full-time equivalent plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.  
Employment Status: Part-time | 38 hours per fortnight (5 days per fortnight)
Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

About St Anthony’s Early Learning Centre 

St Anthony’s Early Learning Centre (ELC) is a welcoming and nurturing environment inspired by Reggio Emilia principles and slow pedagogy. Our connected and collaborative team supports play-based learning guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. Our thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces foster exploration and growth, while our planning—led by observations—builds on each child’s strengths and interests. Serving preschool age children from nearby suburbs, we work closely with families and are connected to the St Anthony’s and St Thomas the Apostle Primary School communities.

About the Role

The Early Childhood Teacher works with a supportive team of educators to plan and implement meaningful learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework. You will work together with our teaching team to create a vibrant preschool learning environment that inspires curiosity, creativity, play, and wonder. St Anthony's ELC is a welcoming community, that seeks to build positive and collaborative relationships for our staff, children and families.

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) approved qualifications.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance.
  • Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
  • Certificates in First Aid (HLTAID004) & Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
