About Us

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) provides education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs).

The Catholic Education Office (CEO) within CECG provides strategic, professional, corporate and transactional services to the CECG system of Schools, ELCs and the CEO through seven Service Areas. These Service Areas include; Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology and People and Culture.

About the Role

The Data, Reporting and Analytics Officer is responsible for designing, building and maintaining, and delivering rich, fit for purpose reporting and analytics solutions across multiple business portfolios. The role works closely with other members of the Applications and Information Management team as well as the Enterprise Reporting and Business Systems teams to uplift organisational data maturity, particularly through the adoption and optimisation of Microsoft Fabric and modern data architecture.

About the Team

The Data, Reporting and Analytics Officer is part of a large and well-structured team of ICT professionals. The position sits within the Applications and Information team to support CEO and school staff across the Archdiocese to ensure ease of access to essential data and insights. Gain valuable insight into the sectors of the wider ICT team by working with Cyber Security, Service Delivery, Business Systems and Enterprise Technology to ensure the best experience for all CECG staff.

Qualifications and Eligibility

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science/Information Technology, equivalent formal qualification and/or working experience in similar role
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration 
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) registration 
  • Current Driver's Licence.
