About Holy Family Early Learning Centre

Holy Family Early Learning Centre (ELC) offers a nurturing, play-based program guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and inspired by Reggio Emilia principles. Serving children from nearby suburbs, the ELC focuses on developing each child’s identity, wellbeing, and learning through observation-led planning in thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces. Strong connections with families and Holy Family Primary School support smooth transitions and foster a welcoming community for early learners.

About the Role

The Early Learning Centre Educator supports the Early Childhood Teacher and ELC Director in delivering a high‑quality preschool program that fosters learning, wellbeing, and a strong sense of identity for every child. You will contribute to planning and daily routines, collect observations for programming, and work collaboratively to create a safe, nurturing, and compliant learning environment. This role is central to building strong relationships with children, families, and the ELC team. 

This appointment is temporary as it is to replace an employee who is on parental leave and the incumbent is entitled to return to work early in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications and Eligibility

  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People clearance (WWVP)
  • Completion of Certificate III (with relevant work experience) or
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
