About St Jude’s Early Learning Centre

St Jude’s Early Learning Centre offers a quality preschool education, catering for children in the year prior to primary school.  The curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework which recognises the importance of communication and language (including literacy and numeracy), and social and emotional development.  Programs include play experiences, intentional teaching and learning opportunities based on the interests of the children.  

About the Role

The ELC Teacher Director leads the day‑to‑day operations of the Early Learning Centre, ensuring high‑quality programs and full compliance with the National Quality Framework. Working closely with the Principal, you will guide staff in delivering responsive, play‑based learning grounded in Catholic values, support families, and foster a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching, Bachelor of Education, Graduate Diploma (Education or Early Childhood)
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • Registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI).
  • Certificates in First Aid (HLTAID004) and Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
