Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

St John Paul II College (JPC) is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school serving families in the north of Canberra. About the Role    

The English Teacher plans and delivers engaging lessons that foster strong literacy skills, critical analysis, and effective communication. As a member of a collaborative teaching team, you will help build a supportive and stimulating learning environment. You will guide students to develop confidence in interpreting and creating texts, strengthen their ability to think independently and critically, and cultivate an appreciation for literature and language that motivates them to reach their full potential.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching 
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration  
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
