About the Role 

Inspire the next generation of chefs, hospitality professionals, and food innovators! Deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that blend practical skills with industry knowledge.

The Food Technology and Hospitality Teacher inspires students through engaging, hands-on learning that combines practical skills with industry knowledge. In this role, you will deliver curriculum-aligned lessons, provide regular assessment and feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress. 

To be successful in this role, you will have the demonstrated ability to be an innovative classroom teacher, who is committed to the school’s philosophy of Powerful Learning, employing a wide range of student centred, brain-based learning strategies and who is willing to explore new models of teaching, including team teaching, to improve outcomes for all students.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation
