About Us
Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services Schools and ELCs.
The CEO provides corporate services to the CECG system of Schools and ELCs. These Service Areas include; Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology and People and Culture.
About the Role
The ICT Service Desk Agent plays a critical role in supporting the organisation’s ICT operations by serving as the first point of contact for all ICT-related enquiries. This position is responsible for delivering responsive, high-quality assistance to users through incoming calls, service tickets, and other communication channels. The role involves accurately diagnosing and resolving first-level technical issues and escalating more complex matters to specialised Officers as needed. By providing expert frontline support and ensuring consistent, customer-focused service, the ICT Service Desk Agent contributes to the efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement of ICT services across the organisation.
The ICT Team at Catholic Education Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn (CECG) provides support in enabling high-quality and operational excellence across our schools 56 schools, 9 early learning centres and head office. Committed to delivering robust, secure, and innovative digital solutions, the team manages the full spectrum of information and communication technology services—from infrastructure and cybersecurity to end-user support and digital learning tools.
Working collaboratively with educators, school leaders, and service area staff, the ICT Team ensures that technology is effectively integrated to enhance educational outcomes and streamline operations. The team upholds a strong service culture grounded in knowledge, collaboration, and integrity, aiming to provide responsive support that empowers our communities to thrive in a digitally connected world.
