About Us  

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CACGEL) operates in the ACT and NSW, supporting 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). 

The Archdiocesan Schools Office provides a range of services to the system through four directorates including Faith in Learning, School Operations, Corporate Services and Governance and Strategy.

About the Role  

The Marketing and Communications Officer will support the team to deliver marketing campaigns that communicate the hope, joy and wonder of a Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Support the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies to promote enrolments in our schools and to attract teachers to work in our schools.
  • Assist with the design, delivery, and management of digital enhancement activities.
  • Support the Senior Manager Marketing and Communications with writing content for digital media, websites, social media, and scripts for video and radio.


About the Team

The Public Relations and Marketing Officer position in the Marketing and Communications works with team members to support a variety of schools and office in all their marketing needs from event management to website updates to content creation.

Qualifications and Eligibility   

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, graphic design or business.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Accreditation in accordance with the Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and Working With Children Check (WWCC) 
    (clearances are not required at the point of application however are required prior to commencement).
  • Current drivers licence as travel to schools is required.
