    About Us  

    Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) operates in the ACT and NSW, supporting 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). 

    The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services to the CECG system of schools, ELCs and the CEO through several service areas including Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and People and Culture. 

    About the Role  

    The Mental Health Clinical Complex Case Officer works closely with the School Counsellor & Mental Health Manager to support the development and delivery of mental health support across CECG schools. This role contributes to the coordination of complex case responses and consistent and high quality provision of mental health support for students, as well as provision of clinical input.

    Key responsibilities of the role include:

    • Assist in supervision processes, including supporting reflective practice and providing guidance within scope and experience.
    • Participate in case discussions and contribute to the planning and delivery of professional learning for school counsellors.
    • Liaise with schools, families, and external agencies to promote effective communication and continuity of care.
    • Collect and analyse data related to mental health service delivery and complex case trends.
    • Promote trauma informed and coordinated approaches to student mental health care.

    Qualifications   

    • Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, counselling, with a minimum of 4 years post graduate experience.
    • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and Working With Children Check (WWCC) 
    • Current Drivers Licence.
