About the Role   

As a Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) Teacher you inspire and engage students through innovative teaching techniques and and a variety of resources that bring the curriculum to life. You will promote physical health, personal development, and wellbeing by creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. Through the use of regular assessments and meaningful feedback, you support students in understanding their progress and setting goals, keeping organised records to track their development. Our commitment to your professional growth means you’ll work closely with colleagues and families, supporting you to grow in your practice while guiding students towards success in both their personal and academic journeys.
 
This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) registration
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
