About Us  

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs).  

The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services to the CECG system of Schools and ELCs and the CEO through seven Service Areas. These Service Areas include: Education and Performance Improvement; Catholic Identity; School and Family Services; Strategy and Special Projects; Finance and Infrastructure; Information and Communication Technology; and People and Culture. 

About the Role  

CECG is embarking on an exciting transformational journey, and the Procurement Officer will play a key supporting role within a collaborative team environment. This position is ideal for an organised and motivated individual who is looking to build a rewarding career in procurement and commercial practice.

Working closely with the Deputy Procurement Manager, who is committed to providing mentoring, guidance, and professional development, the Procurement Officer will contribute to the delivery of effective procurement processes and commercial outcomes. This role offers hands-on experience across a range of procurement activities, with opportunities to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact.

By enabling efficient and compliant procurement practices, the Procurement Officer directly supports teachers, principals, and school communities, to create the best possible learning environments and positively influencing the lives of students and educators.

Qualifications   

  • Relevant industry and subject matter experience.
  • Relevant procurement-related tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.
  • Must hold current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP) and Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
  • Current Drivers Licence.
