About Us  

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services Schools and ELCs.   

The CEO provides corporate services to the CECG system of Schools and ELCs. These Service Areas include; Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology and People and Culture. 

About the Role  

The Professional Learning Officer – Inclusive Practices leads, co-ordinates, designs, and implements high-impact professional learning programs that build knowledge and capability in inclusive practices and disability education across the schools in the Archdiocese. The role is critical in empowering educators, support staff, and leadership teams to build inclusive, accessible, and supportive learning environments for students with disabilities, meet their obligations under federal, state and territory legislation and contribute to Catholic Education's vision of genuine inclusion for all.

About the team

The Professional Learning Officer - Inclusive Practices will be joining our school and family services team who help to support our archdioceses in a variety of ways. Work with clinical experts and curriculum advisers to support our schools and their communities at a local level. Using their wealth of knowledge, hands on experience and personal connections with our communities the school and family services team are here to bring welcome and positive change. This is a team with our students and their families at the heart of everything that they do.

Qualifications   

  • Post graduate qualifications in Education, Special Education, Inclusive Education, or a related field.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) Registration 
  • Current Drivers Licence.
