About the Role
The Science Coordinator, as a member of the Curriculum Leadership Team, is responsible to the Principal through the Assistant Principal Academic Care for leading their faculty in alignment with College policies. This role involves supervising a dedicated team of Science teachers in developing and delivering an innovative, rigorous curriculum. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence, serving as a collaborative and energetic leader who supports colleagues' development, drives curriculum leadership, and ensures high-quality learning outcomes for students. Strong teaching skills and exceptional knowledge of the Science curriculum are essential.
This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.
