Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

About the Role 

The Teacher Librarian plays a key role in nurturing lifelong learners who uphold academic integrity and actively contribute to their communities with ethical responsibility. Collaborating closely with the teaching team, the Teacher Librarian encourages the ethical use of both physical and digital resources, promotes media and information literacy, supports inquiry-based learning, and cultivates responsible digital citizenship to enhance student achievement. At Sts Peter and Paul, the Teacher Librarian is essential in fostering a love of reading and advancing literacy development for every child.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
