About Us  

The Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) operates 56 Schools in the ACT and NSW and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs) in the ACT.   

The Catholic Education Office within CECG provides strategic, professional, corporate and operational services to the CECG system of Schools, ELCs and the CEO through seven Service Areas. These Service Areas include: Education and Performance Improvement; Catholic Identity; School and Family Services; Strategy and Special Projects; Finance and Infrastructure; Information and Communication Technology; and People and Culture. 

About the Role  

The Chief Financial Officer reports directly to the Executive Director and through the Executive Director to the Board.  The Chief Financial Officer is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, and manages a team of over 35 employees, and lead the organisation’s strategic:

  • financial planning, budgeting, management and reporting;
  • capital planning and facilities management; and
  • risk management

The Chief Financial Officer is also a key member of the Finance and Infrastructure and Audit and Risk Board Committees.

Qualifications   

  • Qualifications in Business or Finance
  • Certified Practicing Account
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current Drivers Licence.
