Salary Range: $80,184 to $130,910 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

St John Paul II College (JPC) is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school serving families in the north of Canberra. About the Role    

The Classroom Support Teacher plays a critical role in facilitating differentiated instruction and fostering an inclusive learning environment. By collaborating with classroom teachers, they provide targeted support to students with diverse learning needs, enhancing engagement and academic outcomes. This role is essential in promoting student confidence and success through tailored interventions and effective teamwork. Working in partnership with lead teachers, you implement adaptive strategies that address individual learning requirements, ensuring equitable access to the curriculum and promoting a positive, inclusive school culture.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching 
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) 
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation
