Salary Range: $80,184 to $130,910 full-time equivalent plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

About the Role 

The Classroom Teacher delivers engaging, purposeful, and differentiated lessons using approved teaching strategies and high-quality resources aligned with the curriculum. They create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports both academic achievement and student well-being. Through ongoing assessment and timely, constructive feedback, they monitor progress and adapt their teaching to meet the diverse needs of all learners. The teacher maintains accurate and thorough records of student development and works in partnership with colleagues and families to foster strong, supportive relationships. Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) is committed to supporting professional excellence. Teachers have the opportunity to engage in ongoing learning and development that enhances practice and upholds accreditation and professional standards.

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
