St Mary MacKillop College is Canberra’s largest secondary school, operating across two campuses: Years 7 to 9 at our Padua Campus in Wanniassa, and Years 10 to 12 at our St Peter’s Campus in Isabella Plains. About the Role    

The English Teacher creates a safe and supportive learning environment, applies engaging pedagogical practices, and differentiates instruction to meet diverse student needs. They will foster respectful relationships, analyse student data to enhance learning growth, and contribute to an inclusive school culture. Strong literacy, organisation, and collaboration skills are essential, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching 
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration  
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
