About Us  

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) operates in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and New South Wales (NSW). CECG spans 88,000 square kilometres, covering the ACT and in NSW extends from Pambula on the south coast to Crookwell in the north and to the western point of Lake Cargelligo. About the Role  

The DED Corporate Services (DED CS) plays a pivotal role in supporting the mission of CACGEL. The overall objective of the position is to ensure that the organisation delivers holistic and best practice services and makes sound, ethical and intelligent business decisions, supported by factual data, rationale, and good judgement. As part of the Executive Leadership Team, the DED CS works closely with the DED School Operations to ensure that the enabling services provided to CACGEL schools in terms of finance and infrastructure, Information Communication and Technology (ICT) and employment related issues are efficient and effective, and well-coordinated.  The DED CS also works closely with the DED Governance and Strategy to ensure all policies and procedures relating to these functions are aligned with the organisation’s risk, legal and compliance functions.

The DED Corporate Services has three direct reports:

  • the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), responsible for financial reporting and compliance for the System, provides strategic advice and financial leadership, and oversees the planning, implementation, management and running of all finance activities of the System including budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, capital management and planning;
  • the Chief Information Officer (CIO), responsible for leading the whole-of-enterprise future technology strategy, services, and ICT Framework; and
  • the Chief People Officer (CPO), responsible for strategic leadership to support workforce health, safety and wellbeing, corporate culture and organisational development, and the People Strategy

  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and Working With Children Check (WWCC)
