About Us  

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) spans 88,000 square kilometres across the ACT and in NSW from Pambula on the south coast to Crookwell in the north and to the western point of Lake Cargelligo. About the Role  

The Deputy Executive Director, Faith in Learning (DED FIL) is responsible for CECG’s Catalyst and Catholic Identity initiatives, and for ensuring the approach to curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment across all learning areas is animated by the Catholic view of education as integral human development.  The DED FIL has three main functional areas:

  1. curriculum and pedagogy;
  2. Catholic culture and spirituality, and
  3. data analysis and reporting.

These functional areas are coordinated to support quality teaching to drive measurable improvement in student learning and to enhance faith development opportunities for both students and staff.

Qualifications and Eligibility   

  • Post-graduate qualifications in educational leadership, Theology or Religious Education and/or equivalent, or professional certifications in change and/or transformation.
  • Practicing Catholic connected to a parish or other worshipping community and ability to provide a reference from the current parish priest.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and Working With Children Check (WWCC) 
  • Drivers Licence
