About the Role   

The English Teacher educates and inspires students to develop a love for language, literature, and effective communication while delivering engaging lessons. They create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth, employing a range of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs. The teacher communicates effectively with students, colleagues, and families, provides meaningful feedback, and maintains accurate records of progress. Commitment to continuous professional learning and collaboration within the school community is essential to support literacy, critical thinking, and creativity in every student.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) 
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
