About Us  

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goluburn Education Limited (CECG) provides in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs).

The Catholic Education Office ((CEO) within CECG provides corporate services to the system of Schools, ELCs and the CEO. These Service Areas include: Education and Performance Improvement; Catholic Identity; School and Family Services; Strategy and Special Projects; Finance and Infrastructure; Information and Communication Technology; and People and Culture. 

About the Role  

The Finance Systems Training Operations Officer plays a vital role within the Finance and Infrastructure Service Area of the CEO, CECG, by ensuring that all users, both finance and non-finance staff, are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively use CECG’s core financial system TechnologyOne (TechOne), and associated processes and controls.

This role is responsible for the design, testing and development, delivery, and maintenance of high-quality training programs and materials, tailored to diverse audiences across schools and central services. The Training Officer ensures that finance systems are embedded as effective tools in everyday operations, supporting financial accuracy, compliance, and user efficiency.

Qualifications   

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP)
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current Drivers Licence.
