About Us
Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) operates in the ACT and NSW, supporting 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs).
The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services to the CECG system of schools, ELCs and the CEO through several service areas including Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and People and Culture.
About the Role
The ICT Field Services Manager provides operational leadership for ICT field services across schools and offices, ensuring reliable, consistent and high‑quality end‑user support. Working closely with ICT leadership and the Service Delivery Manager, this role leads Technical Support Leads, manages service performance, and acts as an escalation point for complex operational issues.
The role is responsible for embedding service management practices, driving continuous improvement, and building strong relationships with principals, school leaders and office managers. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this position suits an experienced ICT professional who enjoys leading people, improving services, and supporting technology outcomes that directly enable schools and staff.
About the Team
The ICT team is a diverse, enterprise‑wide function that supports schools and offices through a mix of field services, service delivery, infrastructure, cyber security, business systems and data services. The team works collaboratively to deliver reliable, secure and user‑focused technology services that enable day‑to‑day operations and long‑term improvement.
Field Services is a critical part of this team and works closely with business units and other ICT functions to provide on‑site and end‑user support across a geographically dispersed environment. The team values professionalism, continuous improvement and strong relationships with school leaders and staff, and plays a hands‑on role in supporting teaching, learning and corporate operations.
