About Us  

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) operates in the ACT and NSW, supporting 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). 

The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services to the CECG system of schools, ELCs and the CEO through several service areas including Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and People and Culture. 

About the Role  

The ICT Service Desk Agent is the first point of contact for staff across schools and offices, providing friendly and responsive ICT support. You will handle calls and service requests, resolve issues at first contact where possible, and escalate more complex matters to specialist ICT teams.

Working within established service management processes, you will use the IT service management system to manage incidents and requests, contribute to knowledge articles, and support continuous improvement of service desk operations. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, this role suits someone who enjoys helping others and takes ownership of issues.

About the Team

The ICT team supports schools and offices through service desk, field services, infrastructure, cyber security, business systems, applications and data services. The Service Desk plays a central role, working closely with specialist teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and consistently.

The team values collaboration, strong customer service and continuous improvement, and provides technology services that directly support staff, schools and students every day.

Qualifications and Eligibility   

  • Certificate IV or similar certification in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and Working With Children Check (WWCC). These must be attained prior to commencement of duty, but are not required at time of application. 
  • Current Drivers Licence.
