Salary Range: $81,439 to $137,861 full-time equivalent plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.
Employment Status: Full-time | Contract from 20 July 2026 till the remainder of 2026 school year 
Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

About the Role   

The Relief Classroom Teacher fosters a love of learning through creative teaching strategies and the effective use of diverse, engaging resources to make the curriculum meaningful and dynamic. This role involves delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining classroom routines, and supporting students to ensure a seamless and positive learning experience. Success in this position requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and a dedication to upholding the school’s values, contributing to a stable and supportive environment where students can thrive.

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee on leave.

Qualifications and Eligibility

  • Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) registration
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
  • Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
