Employment Status: Part-time | 45.6 Hours Per Fortnight |5-Month Contract
Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Start Date: 20 April 2026, Term Two

About the Role 

The Relief Classroom Teacher nurtures a love of learning by using innovative teaching approaches and a wide range of engaging resources to bring the curriculum to life. This role is responsible for delivering prepared lessons, managing classroom routines, and providing support to students, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience. This role requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and a commitment to upholding the school’s values and standards, creating a stable and supportive environment for students to thrive. Our school is dedicated to supporting your professional growth, offering opportunities to collaborate with passionate colleagues and work closely with families to foster a positive and enriching learning environment. 

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
