About the Role
The School Counsellor provides expert support to promote mental health, student wellbeing, and positive engagement with school life. Through professional counselling services and targeted interventions, the role empowers students to navigate challenges, build resilience, and thrive both personally and academically. The School Counsellor contributes to a collaborative and student-centred culture, offering guidance and expertise that strengthens the school’s approach to wellbeing and supports a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.

St Mary MacKillop College is CACGEL's largest secondary school, operating across two campuses: Years 7 to 9 at the Padua Campus in Wanniassa, and Years 10 to 12 at the St Peter’s Campus in Isabella Plains.
