About the Role
The Science Laboratory Assistant is an integral member of the classroom support team, working closely with teaching staff to ensure the smooth operation of science learning environments. This role involves managing and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, supporting the preparation and delivery of practical lessons, and promoting a safe and engaging space for scientific learning. The Science Laboratory Assistant also plays a key role in fostering inclusive education by assisting in the implementation of strategies that enable all students, including those with diverse learning needs, to access and participate fully in science curriculum activities. This support helps students develop the academic and social skills necessary for independent learning and confident classroom engagement.
