About the Role   

A Classroom Support Assistant works alongside teachers to support students’ learning, wellbeing, and engagement in the classroom. The role is especially important for supporting students with additional learning needs, disabilities, behavioural challenges, or those requiring literacy and numeracy assistance.

Qualifications and Eligibility 

  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People clearance (WWVP)
  • Certificate III in School-based Education Support or be undertaking an Initial Teacher Education university program of study
  • Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
