Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 full-time equivalent plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service. 
Employment Status: Full-time and Part-time appointments available 
Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

About the Role   

As a Classroom Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of your students. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, assess and monitor student progress, and provide meaningful feedback to support their growth. Working collaboratively with colleagues and families, you will contribute to whole-school initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement and wellbeing. To be successful in this role, you will have a sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum, a well-developed self-awareness and the capabilities to reflection on your own performance, with an aim to continue to grow and develop as a classroom practitioner. An interest in and understanding of the Science of Learning, and its underpinnings in the system initiative ‘Catalyst’ is also desirable.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
